Bob & Ellie Federwitz
Ellie and Bob met at Concordia Teachers College in River Forest, Illinois - now known as Concordia University - Chicago.
At the time Concordia prepared young men and women to be teachers in Lutheran Schools.
Our entire ministry has been in Lutheran Schools. We are Deacons, rostered in the ELCA for Word & Service.
Early Years
We enrolled in Concordia's One Year Internship Program. It was the year between our Junior and Senior year.
Ellie was assigned to Trinity Lutheran School in Port Huron, Michigan. Bob was assigned to Trinity Lutheran School in Utica, Michigan.
It was during our internship year that we decided to get married.
Now
We are retired, living in Millville, NJ. We are members of The Lutheran Church of the Redeemer in Vineland.
Children
Lori & Don and family live in Pennsauken, NJ. Lori is a licensed local Methodist Minister and serves as a Hospice Chaplain.
Don is a partner in IT at a Healthcare Marketing company in Philadelphia.
Kristin & David and family live in Laurel Springs, NJ. Kristin works as a receptionist in a dental office. Dave is an attorney having his own practice.
Tim & and family live in Downingtown, PA. Tim had to quit work due to the progress of his ALS. Dani works part-time in concessions at the Sports Complex in South Philly.
